the sub is a dual 2 and is 700 rms is same build house as the idmax

the amp has the carbon fiber cover has some marks on it not bad but some and is 1500 rms @1 nonfused never benched it but a very powerful amp

Contrary to popular belief it was not built in the same buildhouse as IDMax. It is a Chinese built woofer. Oz confirmed this also.

I contacted ID about this because I was looking into getting one reconed, despite the similarities in the aesthetics they are different woofers ith different parts.

I believe this myth started out because of it common looks with and IDMax, then it became a "Poor Mans ID Max" and now people believe they were built in the same place. This rumor has propagated.

Not to take away from the Oz woofer, because it is a quality woofer, without a doubt. It is fully capable of doing with it what you want. May it be a similar woofer to the ID Max in sound production and aesthetics, yes.

But is it built in the same place?

No, it is not.
