I just installed my setup in my car today. 12" pioneer premier pro spl sub, mp1000 alpine mono amp, 2.25 @32 ported box and i also have an pioneer 7800mp deck. I didn't really get to really tune it much because it was gettin dark but I do have a few question. On the pioneer deck, do I leave the loudness on or off? And wat levels do you guy set ur subwoofer outputs to? On output 2 and 3 wat the average level to set and frequency. I plan on using a test tone disk also but my main concern is the settin on the deck and where can i get an -6db 50hz tone disk at?

Leave the loud off, and you can get tone tracks from ROE

yea i had the loud on for a sec and i was like wtf is was way louder but sounded distorted

You dont have to, but it is usually better than sitting there bumping a pure tone for the minute or so that it will take to set the gain

I also got my my crossover settin on my amp around 70-75 area. bass eq on 0 and my gain is a lil over 1/4 high. but ima try a test tone disk to see where im at

you wouldn't see the same results looking at it on a termlab

pretty much you want to leave everything on the HU at 0

75hz on the lp xover is good

so that means all the sub output set them to flat, and at -10, eq flat, loud off and toss in a test tone and turn it up till i reach the correct voltage on my meter and im done besically? This was way easier to do when i had my alpine when i was setting gains
