Need some advice

I was at a friends party last night and my ipod was stolen from the inside of my car. I have an idea about which two guys stole it. of course if I ask them they'll deny it. are there any ways i could lure them into trying to sell it to me or some way of getting it back or should I just **** it up and take the loss?
