I got a Model #VIBE286 - 2-Channel 4000 Watt Lanzar Amp.. and I'm using it to power my 2 12" Pioneer Premier Champion series subwoofers... and I was wondering if it would be a good idea to bridge the amp AND wire the subs so that it gets the amps full power....

it's on a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix Gt

And I got a scorpion 2 farad cap... if it makes a dif.

do you have an RMS rating for the bridged setup?

Umm no... ?

Sorry I guess I forgot to mention I'm somewhat new to this. But I can hold a conversation about it.

by that I mean.. can you be more specific on what you are asking.

The first thing you should do is try and post this thread in the correct section. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

well, your "MAX" ratings don't mean shit. The RMS ratings are what you need to be looking at, you don't have an RMS rating for when the amp is bridged, only when it's in 2 channel at 4 and 2 ohms.
