need scope input fellas

Cool thx, that's a relief I thought I wasted 80 bucks lol. It's crazy. My homie got me into car audio about 12 yrs ago and his rule of thumb is turn the gain til it sounds good. Well that used to be cool when my whole system totaled 400 bucks but I think I'll pass on that tip now.

Again thx, now all I need is to find out how to use it lol

scopes are pretty easy to get the hang of. Volts/div is for signal strength (amplitude) and Time/div is set based on the frequency of the test tone (think width of the display and it's correlation to wavelength). Triggering is used to keep the display steady when viewing a sinewave.

the thing to remember is that you always ground the black lead to chassis. do not connect the black lead to an amplifier output wire. then just probe with the red lead.
