I need ideas (so pictures would be great)for Rims and Tires under 1000$. I Want bigger rims and thinner tires.. Maby 19's - 24's etc... But thin Tires, i wont be hauling heavy stuff on this truck or going off-roading etc..

And just need an idea of how Tail-Light tinting is done.. I want to make the Clear white looks black.. (and a estimate price, and what kinds of shops can do this kind of job)

u might want to lower it if you put 20s on there...will look like its on stilts or something //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

just buy you some taillight covers or possibly use some nylon?

lol I forgot who did that with the nylon, but it didnt look bad at all.

Where can i buy this cover you are talking about, for my truck..

and What if i go witha bigger size like 24's, but that would be more expensive right?

wheels. and I think tinting the tail lights would look good on the truck I would also take all the emblems off and paint the chrome pieces under the head lights black.

good luck finding rims for under 1k my little 17s for my car were about 1k. you can tint your tails yourself using vht nite shade and some 1000 and 2000 grit sand paper. its very simple, it looks great too if you take our time. it turned out much better than i expected on my car //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

how to tint using nite-shades ^^

I would do what azbass says. we seem to have the same taste in cars //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

get 22's or better if you are set on a thin tire. also consider lowering it to eliminate the stilts effect mentioned earlier.

EDIT: am i allowed to link to other forums? if not i apologize, let me know and i'll edit.

bigger the rims more expensive //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

not always correct. I have seen 24s cheaper than 20s on tirerack.com and victoriatire.com....

BUT this day in age yeah, bigger the rim higher the price.

and I as well wouldnt go no smaller than 22s

I dont want to do the tail-lights myself, knowing me, i would probabl mess up something.. would a local body/paint place know how to do this?.. and rims,, can i get some examples, that wouldl ook good on this truck

I am in East Texas and I have some 24's just for you...

Also they laugh and call you a dumbass but you can have my rims and 3 spares for 1260...

You can barely find 2's that cheap...

a mitsu truck??
wtf?since when?? haaa

and of course 24s are gonna be more expensive than 20s dumbass
Pretty much the same truck as a Dodge Dakota. Just like the stratus coupes were similar to the eclipses. Stratus coupes actually had a mitsubishi sticker under the hood.
