need replacement recommendation for Clarion DRZ9255

Replacement parts are not available so I need a CD source unit replacement.

Have 3 Boston amps, Boston SPG555 sub and Rainbow speakers.

Someone else did the install and would like a high sound quality unit that would be an easy install to replace the Clarion...thanks!

The DRZ9255 was an awesome deck. You could try a Pioneer DEX-P99RS.

I think Clarion in Australia still sells the 9255, but over there it's called the HX-D2, it's still listed on the Australian Clarion website anyway.

clarion has a headunit oem'd by mc intosh let me see if I can find a link

I guess the hx-d2 is the Mc intosh oem

That McIntosh is not the same, the Clarion has 4-way crossovers and time alignment.
