need quick help..working on system right now..

ok...here is the senario....it is very complicated...so bare with me guys.....the blue wire that i connect to the rem label remote/power antenna...which only turn on the amp when i put on the radio....i look a round and there is no wire that is blue white or close to blue white..and i even try them too but it doesn't work...so my last option is to connect them to my ignition wire...which from experience...will drain my battery out......but i try it anyway to see what happen......some of you suggest that it was a bad deck....well..before i had this car...i hook up my cd player to my old car and to the amp and it work fine...another thing is that i even took my brother new cd player and try it to see if it work and same thing happen.......from what i told you guys..do you guys think that it might be the blue rem wire in the harness...b/c my brother cd player work with his amp...why doesn't it work with mine....oh yeah...both cd player are sony....so i used the same harness b/c it fit bother deck...what do you guy suggest.......i'm confuse.....

ok, now that ive got the whole story, but im sure there is some wire on that harness will work, another option is to run, 16 or 18 guage wire from your battery, put a switch on it, and then hook it to the amp, that will serve as your ignition, all you will have to do to turn the amp on is flip the switch. This device will also serve as a device to qucikly turn your amp off in an emergency or when you see a cop, but its probably not good to turn it on and off repeatly in a short period of time, the voltage surges might do harm.

hook it up to the power wire in the harness it wont drain ur battery kuz the amp is not in use

Yeah it will cause the amp will turn on when it recieves the power from the wire, hooking it up like that would be like just spliting the amp power wire, before the amp and running one the the 12 volt power jack, and one the the remote jack, the remote turn on is a switch to tell the amp to come on, if you hook it up to a 12 volt unswitched source your amp will always be on

the power wire in the harness is which wire...is it the one that label batery and yellow...and you mention that the amp will stay on forever...is that right...i don't get what u are saying chevyadio....spliting the amp ower wire and 12volt.......are you saying hooking up like that is not good.

dont use the 12 volt battery wire, you are sure that there is no blue wire with white or blue wire just labled remote turn on, my friend with a 91 sentra tried using the 12volt battery wire, and his amp stayed on all the time, like i said with no remote turn on wire, the best bet is to just run a switch on a 18 guage wire from your battery.

no...i say i unplug the deck from the plug and plug it is my car...so there is nothing wrong with that.....oh yeah.....chevyaudio..to answer your question .. i didn't find anything ...so i just hook it up to the battery wire and it turn on all the time.....is there a disadvantage with that...like burn my amp....for now i see no problem yet...but i'm pretty sure there s a disadvantage...
