ok, i don't necessarily get how ur question is worded...but, if u mean ur getting a pair of 4x6 up front and a pair of 6x9 in the rear u'll be "ok" if those are the correct sizes for your speaker locations. BUT! u prolly won't be very satisfied...tell us ur car, speaker locations sizes, and how much ur willing to spend max and we could help u find a MUCH better choice than what u have listed. let us know. peace

just get some tweeters up front and use the 4x6's and trash the back speakers. Will 5.25 components fit in there? Those back speakers are bad for imaging, but i mean its up to you. (just picture it- the front speakers are playing along with a different back speaker, youll hear different sound from both and it will be "odd" sounding because one will pull from the other)

1987 Chevy Blazer, the front are 4x6 and the back are 6x9. I'm wondering if it'd be ok if I had a pair of pioneer 4x6 speakers up front and a pair of sony 6x9 in the back. If not any other suggestions? I have no idea what to do, and around $150 tops for two pairs of speakers, $150 tops for a cd deck w/ mp3 playback...

ok, what i'm gonna tell ya is...do it right the first time! don't spend this money on stuff u'll definetly be unsatisfied with later...especially the quality of the sony's:sick:!! (this is what hapenned to me...unexperienced and i'm spending mroe total money than what i would have spent if i did it right in the first place) I would save up a little more money, u'll be more satisfied. I recommend...infinity 6.5" reference components up front(you can cut the install holes so they fit, that's what i'm doing in my truck)...u don't even necessarily need rear speakers...it birngs ur sound imaging to the rear which is bad. BUT, if u would like you could buy a midbass only speaker for the rear for like $60. Okay...it's a little more than u sed...but if u go with front and rear midbass like i sed, and a 4channel amp (us acoustics USX4065) The total for the speakers would be about about $250-270. NOW, you don't need the rear speakers...u could go with the infinity comps up front, and a 2channel amp (us acoustics usx2080) and the total would be about $185. You will be very satisfied, and won't have to upgrade if u go with the first option! but, if u don't have the money go with the second...and u'll be happy. I'm only going with front components and no rears speakers...and then my 2 12" subs for my Ext. cab truck. but, if ya need ne more help.........just say so. peace

So, if I buy a pair of NEW SONY XPLOD XS-V6932 6X9 3WAY

and a pair of NEW PIONEER TS-A4657 4X6 2-WAY

and a new cd deck with 22RMS output for channels, I won't be happy with the sound quality??? Car audio is frickin' complicated //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif .

no, please stay away from sony...if ur set on coaxials(all in one speakers) then look into some alpine, and some infinity! look on the net too...thezeb.com, ikesound.com, etronics.com I'm just trying to help so u save money in the long run...most oval shaped speakers are not as good...ex:4x6,5x7,6x9. Round speakers have better response...it's all up to you, ur money, but if u don't want thos components which will give u much beter sound...at least look into some better brands as far as regular cax speakers...infinity makes some good ones for reasonable price. for beginning you can run them off ur head unit...then later when u get the money, u can amp them for better sound. peace

I totally agree with what 13 is telling you here: Spend the most you can on the best speakers you can up front. Rear speakers are a joke...good for nothing (except maybe some 5.1 in-car systems that use the surround function of rear speakers.)

Go listen to as many speakers you can...find the ones that you like best. Talk to a professional installer to see if and how they will fit...sometimes they are too deep to mount in a location that takes a 4x6.

Get a deck with good RMS output and have fun with those. I don't want to knock any brand, but the Kenwood Excelon's that have on-board power, with system e's that also provide an electronic crossover.

Good Luck...any more questions, feel free to ask.
