need opinions on subs

well, i heard some type s's today, they didnt really perform like everyone has said they do, and it was in a shop, so u know how much power it was on. as well i heard the thunder 6000's and they didnt perfrorm well either. maybe it was just the fact that it was in a shop. oh, and the type s's were 170 each, and the type e's were 99 each, i think i might go with the e's cause he said they sound similar to the s. any other suggestions for 10" subs that will do me well? i dont want to spend over 150 per sub (unless they kick super ***) and i can give them 150 rms each.

Try the Se line from RE. There 600 RMS but i was told by there Rep that they still get loud with low power.

You could also look at some Orion Cobalts. They are anywhere from $80-$100. They handle 200 RMS and 400 max.
