Need opinion on a AMP/SUB

Im pretty new to the whole car audio thing. I have a CHevy HHR and I am not looking to rattle windows and shake the house. I just want some nice rounded base and not take up a whole lot of room. I was looking at:

and pick up a decent AMP for item 2..not sure what AMP to use??

If you guys think this stuff is Junk please recommend me a nice 10"/12" SIngle Sub and a nice AMP for around $200ish...thanks
