need new subs

Alright Now by no means am I saying the w7 is the end all sub just to start off. I kust sold my buddy 2 10w7s with a fosgate 1500.1 amp. He is hitting really hard now. But me being me I have to have more. What subs get louder and deeper and still sound good. I am thinking about running 4 10 w6s since they are sitting under my bed. Will 2 fi qs on a pdx 1000.1 be louder. His boxes are 1.2 cubic feet. I plan on running the same boxes. The boxes are tuned to 31. Will the 2 qs be louder?

I know its sadder that I'm just doing this to be louder but were in a car club and you always want the best of the best in the group or at least I do. Will 4 10 w6s be louder than 2 10 w7s?

Why go for louder when you could go for better? I'll never understand you spl guys. I like music and music sounds like shit in an spl car (ok maybe not a good one, but your average one). Why not just let your friend have the louder car and aim for a better sounding one? That way you are both winners.

why would you even ask if you already have the 10s? Just put them in and see what happens. If they dont impress you then upgrade.

Also.. why do you plan on running the same size box.. is it because its what HE is running, or just a coincedence that you have the same size space available..

If you have the JLs already, then use em..
