need new subs suggestions

alright i have a cadence txa-1000d amp and blew my other subs gave them to much power. I need new subs probably two 12 inch but open to anything. I listen to rap,classic rock, and r&b mainly. i am looking for suggestios on what type of subs to buy not sure on budget but nothing crazy like w7 or anythig that pricey. They will be going into a ford explorer so i have lots of room. I perfer sq over spl but like to make it loud as hell sometimes.
