need new sub ideas

on monday i bought a new amp on ebay a mb quart dsc 1000.1 and was gonna wire my 12" R down to 1 ohm but then realized i have a (1242 model) so i cant wire down to 1 ohm //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif i can keep it at 2 ohm like my last set up and this amp does 500 rms like my old amp so not a total loss, but what would be the best, buy a used 12" 1242 R and wire down to 1 or try and trade mine for a somones newish 1222 and finally sell type r and get 2 new subs looking for SPL for daily not wanting to spend more then 300$ for new subs if i have to, i can probably sell my sub locally for about 200 being in canada thats cheap! and is still fairly new, sorry for the huge story but what are peoples opinions on what i can do.

think im getting 2 cvrs be running 1000 watt to them how much better would they be then my type R? providing there in a good box

you could get another type r and wire both down to 1 ohm. i personally dont like alpine or kicker. the 2 cvrs wont get real loud from what i have seen. You could get a pair of re se or a pair of audioque sdc2.5s for under $300. they are both great subs in my opinion and will get louder than 2 cvrs or 2 type rs

1 DD 2512 or 2515 would be killer on that amp. the 15 would be louder than the 2 kickers.
