Need new sub , help on choosing?

Ok so I blew my Kenwood kfc-wps something like that 12 inch , anyhow it was a cheaper sub, I'm looking to buy another better sub and I was recommended to look at 80$ orions or alpine type r, I was also looking at the sundown e12 for like a 120, so in all Im willing to spend about 150$ on the sub itself any recommendations. I wouldnt consider that a major factor,as OP has given examples of sub woofers he is considering of the general area of wattage,price that he is looking within.Whether the OP decides to run his sub@ 1 ohm, 2 ohm, 4 ohm,ect. will be his choice of choosing that ohm load during purchase.A type R Alpine is within the RMS range of 1000 watts,SD E12 is within the 400RMS range but can take a bit more than specs, given clean power and the environment given.I see good options given here for his needs as well as his money

I beg to differ. I agree all sub choices have been solid assuming he has 500-1000W on tap. Even though he has been suggested certain subs doesn't mean it correctly took his amp into account. There's a chance that he may be running a 2000W memphis amp for one random example.(tiny chance although I have run across a guy in a similar situation running the mentioned amp that he picked up randomly for a great deal) or maybe he is running a 100w class AB amp. If his amp is smaller he would be far happier with a sub geared towards a lower power application in this case I would strongly encourage the e over the others.
