need new speakers (6.5 components) any opinions?

yea i dont think i wanna go active from what i read obviously it would be better but i dont think i would really notice the difference

do you want to go to a stereo shop and in there sound room you can hear speakers

decide what you like and then buy them on line for the cheap

it is kinda subjective what may sound good to me may not sound good to you

i would get a pair phoenix gold rsd 6.5 " components for about $75 shipped brand new

put an amp on them maybe like a 100 watts x 2 @ 4 ohm

do you have an amp

i understand what your saying about some sounding better to some people and sounding like trash to others, i dont have an amp at the moment im just asking for opinions for when i get back in about 6 months. I was looking at the new sundown audio sax-200.4 if they are 200w rms or the sax-100.4 if they are 100w rms

Credscendo CCX65s are $100 shipped. I've read nothing but great things about them. Picking up a set for myself next week, they are rated at 100rms each side.

i made recommendation from highly regarded brands.. look into those and decide what type of sound you want..
