hey guys. i was just wondering, whats the best torrent or other type of download program as of late? i used to use mIRC a long time ago but i fell off of that whole thing long ago. however, i let my friends borrow MANY, AND I MEAN MANY cd's of mine only to get lost, stolen, or destroyed. so now i have only about 3 good size folders of burned cd's. and these cd's are PATHETIC. not all of them, but a lot of them. shit i cant even say pathetic, but there is only so many times i can listen to the same ones before i wanna hang myself. sooooo, like i said, what is the best way to download music now a days? i need something safe ( got caught downloading how high a long *** time ago, and was told to get it rid of it or face criminal charges lol. stopped me downloading real quick), that is also quick, and has a good amount of music. safety is my #1 concern, as i dont want to get caught again.

are these safe? like remember when kazaa was around and everyone just got screwed every 5 seconds. is this a safer way to download? and ive been reading about oink in a couple threads. not really sure what the hell it is. i visited the website but i dont see how that works either.

If u have a .edu email address u can use Rukus then rip it to MP3 w/ another program.

whole point of it is lossless quality music at hi speed dl's...

I dl'ed at up to 4mb/s before I came back home off of t1 connection on university isp....

when i tried to use albumbase all i get when i click the link for an album is it tries to open my itunes...how in the hell do i actually download anything?

ive been researching more on the forums and i see a few threads saying that all the torrent and even mirc are being heavily monitored by the riaa and other organizations...kinda turning me off of even risking to start downloading again..
