need new battery advice?

will starting a new project soon and just got my bxi2006d and 2 15''L7.. this time i am wanting to upgrade my electirical system.. big 3, new battery.. just wondering is it neccessary to get 2 optimas 1 up front and 1 in the back?? if so whats the difference between redtop and yello top? (sorry for the newb Qs, better asking you guys then anyone else and is their a website or a thread on here that teachs you how to install 2 batts.) and should i mind as well change the alt. too?? please give me adivce and please keep your dumbass comments to yourself. and thanks you guys for the help
