Need new Alt. help ppplllllzzzzz

im looking to find a 200-250amp alt for my 2002 VW Golf 2.0L 4cylinder.

Im waiting on a quote from excessive amperage if they can do it, and im not too sure of where else to look. For the most part my main concern is price unless there are special brands that are worth paying more for thier reliablity, i hear iraggi alts. are nice.

i really dont know of many other places to search for quotes or even if something liek this is available... any suggestions? any place not to shop at? hat should i expect to pay?

Well im looking for 150-200A for my altima, and am being quoted $150(ebay)-$380(EA) with a couple in between.

HO alts, Mean green, EA, ohio gen, iraggi.....etc. Search for HO alternator, etc. to find more.

i heard ho alt and ohio gen are good...when i get my next car prolly go wit either one of them....i think when it comes down to the alt...the price shouldnt matter as long as u get good quality

how did you increase max output with just a belt? i can understand a smaller pulley to increase output at lower rpms, if thats what you meant.

Mid '99 the 2.0 motor changed. DON'T buy that alternator.
