Also, this is a little off topic, but a type r vs. MD Sidewinder 12" is much needed. I think it would be a very good matchup.

true, but if space is not a problem and since he's not concern about money (doesn't sound like he is but the 15 is almost 2x the price of the 12) then WHY THE HELL NOT TO GET A 15?????
