Need mid-bass Fill. Ideas?

I have a regular cab truck. I have 6.5 component utopia's in front (6.5 in doors, tweeters firing at each other in the pillars) and 10w7 behind the seat. the midbass is really really weak, even with dynamat'd doors. the High's and Low's are both really pronounced.

I've seen some competition SQ setups with 6.5" or 8" midbass speakers in Kickpanels. Is this possible in my regular cab truck? is it a good idea or a waste?

the sub and tweeters are extremely overpowering right now.

have you turned down the tweeters on the x-overs? might help a tad

Yea it can be done and sound good if you do it right. Do you have an fabrication experience?
