I have one I havent installed yet, and I know it would be nearly impossible to use without the manual.

Im still looking for the 7949 manual (and Im jealous!).

I have a 7949 kicking around here somewhere. I'll see if it has the manual with it.

If you don't have any luck finding your manuals, PM me and I'll email them to you. If the files are too big to email, I can drop them in the mail to you. You should also be able to get them by calling /////Alpine tech support. I know they still have them even though they're not posted on their website..

The 7949 is probably one of the best sounding units they ever made, less the 7909, of course. Good luck.
