subs are 2 12" Fi Q's (non BP), amp is USAmps m2d2, car is an 03 accord coupe. right now, im running 2 cubes sealed and the output is awful (one of the chambers isnt properly sealed though). space is an issue. my trunk opening is only so big lol. what would you say is the best for compact/high-output? should i try a small ported, or maybe isobaric?

that would just be the biggest pain in the *** ever lol. plus i need to be able to get it out if i have to. ive also though about glassing it into the side or something, but i think that might be too much work for it to possibly not come out that good in the end anyways :/

does anyone really know what kinda boxes these Qs like? im coming from L7's ported in 5 cubes in a blazer on the same amp, so i know the output will be far less, but it shouldnt be as bad as it is now. i mean, my amp is rated at 1800w cont for christs sake, and my trunk is matted...

you should be able to fit a 3.5 - 4cube ported box in that trunk. Work up a design and then build a "test" box out of 1x2's to make sure it'll fit...
never thought of that lol. its not the trunk size thats the problem, its the trunk opening. i can barely get my box i have now in....

do you think simply putting external aeros on my current box would work? i know i said before that its 2 cubes, but it may actually be 2.5 or something (before sub displacement). which according to ssa, is still really small for a ported box...
