Need info on Old school RF amps

Well sir your in luck as I just happen to have the manual sitting beside me.

all ratings are RMS

200a4-30amp fuse 25w x 4 @ 4ohm, 50w x 4 @ 2ohm, 100w x 2 @ 4ohm

400a4-50amp fuse 50w x 4 @ 4ohm, 100w x 4 @ 2ohm, 200w x 2 @4ohm

minimum 2ohm load x 4 channels, minimum 4ohm load bridged to two channels //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

You can only bridge the 4 channels to 2, not mono. Never tried dropping below 4ohm bridge before. never had a need too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

so either amp will be great to run my mids and highs..i have 4 alpine door speakers 40rms and 2 pioneer 4x6 dash speakers 20rms...how would i wire them up to a 4 channel RF amp?? 6 speakers to 4 channels without dropping below 2 ohm..i would guess do it this way..wire the rear doors to the correct channels..rear channels left and right..and the front..wire the doors to the dash to get a 2 ohm load...thus getting more watts..but will be cool cause its divided up between 2 speakers for each front channel...as for the 200a4..that will be 50w rms to 60rms total for to speaker front left door and left dash..same on other side..and i will get 25 rms to the rear doors..sound right??..thanks for the manual help...i looked on RF site at the download..says the same..good thing i thought of that

Ummm yeah I think I understood //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Theoretically all should receive relatively equal amounts of power. Doors and dash = front channels 2 ohm load. Rears = rear channels 4 ohm load //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

thats what i thought...i found some amps that are nice on ebay...i never bought anything for car audio off ebay...will it all work when i get them if i win bid??...i mean the old RF amps are nice..but 5 or 6 years old i dunno..are they still good?? were they abused??...will i be better off getting a new 4 channel??
