anyone here using the DB drive PL WD woofers?
these look good and i noe they set some records.
I can get them at a good price down here. just wonder what these guys are capable off.
as for amps, i have an AT5000.1 now,
will be gettin the AT7000.1 and a pair of RF BD 4000s.
how much power cna these the PL WDs handle for daily and for burps (from experience) and how do they sound like for daily drivers? or are they " one tone wonders"?
I'm using Atomics now, but they are TOOO damm heavy to ship in. George is building me a new APXX 12 when i'm up in the US this june and i'm hand carrying it back. Don think i can get the 15s or 18s shipped in(even if so, it'll cost a bomb). I'm friends with the local DB distributor and am thinking of testing out the WDs.
would appreciate the info.
