Need Ideas for my new subwoofer setup...

Ok guys I need a little input on a few things. First off, I was running two FI Q 15's off of a 40.1 @ 1 ohm in a 8cuft box ported to 28hz and blew one to hell and the other one's coil is burnt like a motha... So I was thinking of going with either one 18 BTL or two 15 BTL's off of the 40.1 @ 1 ohm. What do you think? Either setup will be tuned to 32hz. I was planning on modifying the current box if I go the 15 route, but if I go with the 18, the box will be around 7.5~8 cuft tuned to 32hz. This will be a daily driver setup.

the Q's got pretty F***** loud. Would one 18 be just as loud or louder? I know the two 15's would. I'm asking because I want to change the setup but don't want to lose any output.

what kind of numbers have been achieved with one 18 btl off 3000 watts in a daily driver scenario?

If I go with the single 18, will it be able to handle the 40.1 at 1 ohm or should i run it at 2 ohm for a daily setup?

dang streetbeater. Go with 2 15's twice the cooling and plenty of power for two 15's. Plus it will be much louder than 1 18 (in the right box). If I had the space I would definitely do 2 15's

thanks! I def. have the space too (grand marquis) and plenty power to do it with. So then my next question, will the IA 40.1 be enough power for two 15 BTL's at 1 ohm or do I need to drop it lower like .5 ohm?

i think you are really stupid for buying those fi 18's cause you didnt do enough research first.

i bet there not loud at all.. and i also bet that they will break on u cause fi is gay.

I been checking the nightshades too, would they be a good contender against the btl's? Keep in mind that this is a street/daily setup and I want to be able to play low.
