Hey im looking to put a new stereo in my 04 Explorer. I had a decent setup in my Old RSX i had CDT components with cdt rear fills (can't remember the model numbers, they were the carbon fiber ones) with 2 12" JL w3's all powered by PG amps.

Im just looking for a basic stereo in this car. I already have sitting in my room a Alpine 9856 (was a gift) and CDT CL-6x that i will use for my rear fill. I know that i should go to 6.5's for the front components but i need recomendations. Im looking to spend mid 200's for the components and a 2 channel amp. If you guys could please help me out.

Try CDT HD62s if you can push for upper 200 and at max 300 shipped

Sorry my first post wasn't very clear, im looking to spend actually about 300 for a set of decent components and a 2 channel amp, the more money i can save on my front speakers the less time i will have to wait until i have enough money for a subwoofer.

What about the CL-61A's? im looking at them type-r's and the rev series.
