Need helping choosing an amp for an 06 XXX 12!!!

I need some help picking out a large amplifier for a new 06 RE Audio XXX 12 I just purchased. I'm gonna be putting it in the spec size ported box and I was wondering if any of you guys had any recommendations on what to pick. I have an amp right now that I got for a really good price from a friend new but I didn't know if it would be good enough for the sub. I have one of the Alphasonik 1000 HCA's It puts out "3000 watts" at 1 ohm. I've never had it benched so I have no idea what the true rating is. Anyone think this amp should be fine or what should I look into getting? I'm gonna try and sell this amp and/or trade it with some cash for an amp if possible. I don't know enough about these XXX's to know what to put on them in all reality. I've always been in the smaller class stuff and just now am stepping up to the bigger badder stuff. So does anyone have an honest answer that I can actually use? Figured this was the best place to get some info on an amp for a sub not many people around here have even heard of.

I guess just give me some options in all budget ranges.....Sometimes you can find a really expensive amp for a great deal. I'll take any and all recommendations. I'm mainly looking for SQL...no burping or anything.

The sub is gonna be a dual 2 ohm so I'm gonna need a 1 ohm stable amp.....also have been told that 2000 watts is the bare minimum to put on this sub....any opinions on that? I've heard of double that being put on them so that's why I'm here for input.

not trying to be a douchebag but you can put 100 watts on the sub or 6k no one knows what you want but you. you should say, hey, i need something in the 3-6kwrms range and state the price. then you could have saved yourself all of ^^^^ with everyone posting and gotten much more personalized sellers with things for sale. put it in the title too "WTB: BIG *** AMP"

Yeah I know what you mean. I'm probably looking for something in the 3000k to 4000k range. That's what I was told by the RE tech just a few hours ago.
