Need Help

Hi. I just bought a Jeep Wrangler....it sounds like crap. I would like buy a system that will sound good. I know nothing about these things. I have the 2 door so space is limited in the back for an amp. Plus, I'm installing a security deck on the back to have a place to secure things.

Since it is a rag top, and I work on the bad side of town, I was wanting to keep the stock head unit to prevent theft. So, I was wondering what components I would need and what is reasonable pricing with installation for these items?

I called a local shop that had a good reputation, they told me it would be 1300 to 1500. They suggested speakers from a company I never heard of. My gut says the whole thing is shady. Whatever I buy, I will have to have someone install it for me.

You shouldn't just change speakers and nothing else. I'm guessing most of the good brands you have never heard of. what was it?

A dollar amount for a quote doesn't indicate much. Did you get a quote over the phone or did you visit the shop?

Soft top Wranglers are a tough vehicle for good sound, particularly with the bass.

That's the best and **** near the only company that makes and specializes in wrangler boxes. If you don't go through them be sure it's a downward firing box for best sound quality

the best and they use kicker subs... He can do better with much less money spent and i'm not just talking about the subs.

The boxes the make sell were built and designed by them. Downward firing and most are built to protect thethe al from the.eliments

Put your subs under your front seats. 10" Sundown SD-2, now SD-3, 1000w. You will feel and hear them with the top off. PM if you have any questions

The LC7i - LC7i - AudioControl What speakers should I get for the sound bar. Which amp? How do I find someone who will use high quality to install these items I purchase elsewhere? I'm in Monroe, LA. I'm not sure about any local shops here.
