LongThrow
My Kickers be swaggin'
Equipment listed in signature (which is currently temporary, as I'm low on funds to continue upgrading,)
Switched all the gear from my Explorer to my 91 Honda Accord. Sub put into the trunk, of course. Wires are all secure and ground is getting full connection, fused at 80 amp a few inches from the battery - currently only using subs and sub amp, using some random spare pioneer 4-6 inch (not sure on size) door speakers powered by head unit temporarily until I have more wire to run another run of 4g to my door speaker amplifier.
I have my headunit settigns set the same way it was as it was hooked up in the previous vehicle, along with the settings on my sub amplifier. Triple checked all connections and settings.
So I tried laying the rear seats down thinking it would help, which it did, but still losing a lot of the thump and vibration I had in my explorer, would rattle my chest/back and buzz the top of my head/hat, friends said at volume 28/32 would hurt their ears because they aren't used to "loud" bass. Certain frequencies would make my vision blurry if I focused - now I know SUV's in general have more cabin gain than smaller vehicles - which this car is SMALL. Thinking about taking rear speakers out for a blow-through.
And I know this system isn't great by any means, but it was MUCH louder and could feel ALOT more of the lower bass hz, 28-45hz even in my sealed box with ****** walmart kickers.
Is it just the acoustics are different from the vehicle swap?
