Need help!!!

ok my sy set up is as follows.....

Head Unit... Pioneer DEH 4600bt

Subs......... (2) 12'' Alpine SWR 12D2 wired @ 2 ohms

Enclosure... Ported

Amp.......... Hifonics BRX 2000.1D (1400 watts rms @ 2 ohms)

Here is how i have the setings on my Head Unit:

Subwoofer Control... 100hz : 0 -24

Bass Boost............ Zero

HPF..................... 200hz -24

SLA..................... +1

Fader.................. Center

Balance............... Center

EQ Settings......... Flat

Loudness............ Low

Sub Woofer......... Normal

And here is how i have my amps settings..

Gain.................10'oclock ( 9v to your far left and 0.2v to your far right)

Phase .............. Zero Degrees

Bass EQ............ Zero

SSF.................. 25hz

LPF.................. 29hz

i need to now where to set these settings!!!! NEW TO CAR AUDIO SO ALL HELP APPRECIATED!!!! MY BASS BARELY HITS UNLESS I HAVE THE VOLUME WAY UP ON MY HEAD UNIT (45+)

Um ssf and LPF have you only playing between 25-29hz. Move LPF up to around 80

Yes. Right now you are only playing 4 frequencies. A bit more but it's a -24db roll off

Ok thanks.... So i can leave ssf where its at and turn up the lpf to around 80hz? Correct?

You can leave it but make sure they are not bottoming out. Play tones and check them.

youre probably gonna smack me for asking this but how do i know if they are bottoming out? im new to this car audio but learning a lot.... i have a disc with tones from 30hz to 300hz im guessing check it the 40hz or 50hz tone?
