I hate to say it bro but he speaks the truth. Any time you start to crank it its gona overpower the rest of the sound. Giving my stock speakers more power did make a difference, but the sub still vastly overpowers everything else. If your wife cares about sound quality shes gona want to be able to hear the rest of the music other than bass. I know wiminz are picky like that :/

Yea but unless Im in the passenger seat I cant see it being cranked that often and like I've said this is just a temp budget. Just bought a 2nd car, looking at a 3rd, in the midst of moving house and also changing jobs so gimme a month or 2 and I'll probably have all the speakers upgraded. Shes not a big music listener so I cant see her crankin it and not bein able to hear the words.. But the shop I was getting the RE XXX from said they wont have stock for a couple months so now I gotta find a different setup!! No offence mclerico83 but after researching them all and looking at the technologies of all the different subs on their websites, I've decided to go with the Rockford Fosgate T2D*15. Can I get some advice on the best amp to run a single one and whether I should go the 2ohm or 4ohm? Other than that I'm set with the 0 Gauge Kollosus kit and the fibreglass enclosure yea? Any ideas on what enclosure setup/type would work the best for the T2D*15? I'll get the big 3 done but is this system going to be powerful enough that I'll have look into a 2nd battery?
