Ok, with what I'm running(in my sig), will I need a new alt? I'm getting a yellow top too. I'm not sure what exactly my alt puts out, I think its around 80a, but not sure. I've heard about those batcaps, would that help at all?

Don't bother with a cap.

I bigger alt would help. You should run at least 120 amp. A new battery won't do much unless you listen to the system with the engine turned off.

Yep, your right - forgot it was a post 1990 vehicle.

When they added all the computer shit to cars engines the amperage requirements of the car doubled

$#%&....thanks, where are some places to get alternators from, besides Mr.Alternator.com? And how much would a 150-180 amp alt cost me? This **** car audio is killing my wallet...
