Whats up guys,

I need your guys opinion on this one. My baby brother wants me to put together for him a budget system. All he wants is a HU, speakers and an amp. And all he wants to spend is $300. This is what I put together, now tell me which one I should go with.

Package number 1

New sony CDX-GT100 HU (he want to play his ipod through it)

Phoenix Gold Octane 6.5 comp (70 watts rms)

Phoenix Gold Octane 6x9 in the Rear (70 watts rms)

A small 4ch amp to power them, maybe a performance technique.

Package number 2

Same HU

Pioneer TS-A6991S 5-way 6x9 (80 watts rms)

Pioneer TS-A1671R 3 way 6.5 (35 watts rms)

Same amp as above

Or can you guys recommend something else to me
