need help...

i thot subs are supposed to play onlylow frequency sounds? why does it play some tones other than bumps? i can hear some of the lyrics to the song.... my sub is a dls ur 12 in a sealed enclosure at 4 ohms powered by a pioneer gmx962 (380w rms)

you are prolly running it in stereo instead of mono on your amp

pioneer (to me, in my own opinion) doesn't make very good amps.. And yeah, they're probably in stereo--secondly, use 1 amp per subwoofer as pertaining to power rating/rms peak etc. sounds so much better when everything is independent, and let doesn't strain your amps as much
