Need help with wiring.

You might as well run one channel on each voice coil. Ur amp have a mono/stereo switch?

Radio have a subwoofer output, it might be mono.

I alrdy tried running it parallel and the amp would get really hot and after playing it for about 5 minutes or so the protective mode would come on.

The amp doesnt have a mono/stereo switch, and the HU doesnt have a subwoofer output.

So I should run it one channel on each voice coil?

Yeah that is about your best best for now. Just run the amp in stereo and put one channel on each VC. Unless you get another sub just like it. Then you can wire the pair up in a 4 ohm load and bridge your amp.

Or get a 1ohm stable amp.
