Worse case, you could consider soldering a short wire to the terminal and then attach a quick disconnect crimp so you can easily change wires in the future if necessary.

you'll have to open your sub box and take a short run of wire from one neg/pos to the other neg/pos (neg to neg, pos to pos). Then you'll be good.
