need help with wiring asap please!!

well, the terminal screw for the speaker on my RF tk1 broke in half, and if any of you have this amp know that its not just a screw, its like a little closing mechanism or something //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif is there any way i can wire my Fi Q to 1 ohm with just one set of terminals ( not both sets of + -)? its a dual 1.4 coil?

is the amp mono? or 2 ch?

if its mono cant u just use set A and wire the coils to 1ohm? Like option 1: http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp~Q~1~I~22

How did you currently have them wired? Pos neg on each voice coil to the pos neg of the amp?

If it's a mono amp, then yes, you can wire them to one VC and then run a link wire from one VC pos/neg to the other VC pos neg. It would be running at .7 ohm, though if you have a 1.4 ohm DVC sub.

thats what i was wondering, my sub is a dual 1.4 coil? would that be considering a dual 2 ohm speaker? sorry if im asking obvious questions, im still new to this stuff

jrwalte...I'm not totally sure how it was wired, a local shop put it in for me because i was too scared to tear apart my stupid a$$ taurus and run the wires...but there was 2 sets of wires coming out of the box...1 going into both sets of (+ -)

fi d2 coils are actuly around 1.4 or so. my D2 was 1.7. Ul be fine with imp rise.
