For a Kenwood x995(and all the install accessories), Morel comps up front with a diamond d5 amp, eclipse coax's in the back, solid audio f11 and a treo ssi 10 I've spent around 1 grand give or take. I recommend to take your time.

mylows will hook you up. i would NOT recommend getting best buy to install your gear. ive seen friends installs by best buy that are half assed and some of them dont even know how to properly install a ground. listen to mylows, hes giving great advice and is way more knowledgeable than i am

really depends on what equipment you run ,but let say for shlts and giggles dc 5.0 amp 1300 ,2 xl 15's 485 each ,wire 400 deck 350 comps 260 ,mids 150 4 channel amp 500 ,batteries 300 each $4900 plus install and box too

Maybe buy your head unit from Crutchfield. THey will give you the wire harness and installation instructions for your vehicle. It helps the first time.

what about getting all of that stuff but smaller? smaller amp, smaller subs? I dont need the best sound system... just somthing i can turn up somewhat loud with out totaly sounding like shlt

ehh ok system not all that .only thing i see any good is the treo sub and the morel comps everything else mainstream china crap

Start with the head unit and comps. That will make it better until you get some more money. In the mean time, research your future purchases and see what products are getting good reviews.

if i was you i would get a decent headunit a set of comps and a nice 4 channel amp to start, then save up some cash and get some subs and sub amp.
