need help with whole audio system

If u get a basic after market hu probably lookin around 120 - 200 depends on the features u want?? Some shops offer free install on head units And as far as bass I would go with maybe a single 12 under the bak seat nothing to much maybe change out front en speakers and add some tweet ! My opinion on that budget I just got sumtin basic for my ride an I spent 1500 hu/spk/amp/box not including mids an highs!!!

I heard best buy installs for free.. is it a bad idea to have stuff done there? do you know if those people know what there doing?

installing speakers is fairly easy. look up some DIY instructional videos on youtube. doesnt have to necessarily be for your specific car. just something to get a good idea of what you will be doing

im going to get a new amp at a later point so should i wait?

dont go to best buy ,bad idea.most of the veterans can walk you thru your install or maybe even find someone local you can pay to do it for you .as far where to start like i said a good hu not decent.look at the pioneer 80 prs very nice start.a set of components for the frt doors and if need be a set of coaxils for the rears .i can help you pick out what you need or may want ,and give you a decent price too.i could even have it shipped to me so i can hook the harnesses all together so all you need to do take the dash apart and plug everything in

ok. with all of that stuff how much is my sound system going to be changed? is it going to be a big improvement or just the beginning?

should actually be a big difference. but the stock system will have more bass ,because they are built that way ,but the new stuff will sound way cleaner.and leave all the room for amps,subs ,or whatever you want

2000 watts rms would be a good start also a 4 channel and some subs.big question is ,do you wanna loose your back seat ?

if it was me ,i'd do at least 5000 watts rms ,2 15 " subs 2 extra batteries and lots of 0 gauge wire.some cdt components in the frt doors ,and mids in the rear, 2 set of tweets ,run it all active .and 100 watts rms x 4 4 channel amp for the mids and highs

i would like to keep it.. and the 1000-1400 is actually more like 800-1200... more of my money is going to a real nice lift and winch and stuff. for like $800 could i get a sub, HU, amp, and better speakers?

mylows will hook you up. i would NOT recommend getting best buy to install your gear. ive seen friends installs by best buy that are half assed and some of them dont even know how to properly install a ground. listen to mylows, hes giving great advice and is way more knowledgeable than i am
