need help with whole audio system

I dont know a whole lot about sound systems, but I know the one that came in my 2006 Ford f250 blows. I don't have a whole lot of cash because I just bought this truck and it wasn't cheap. Anyone have any recommendations for how to best use $400-$600 to get started on my sound system until i have the money to throw a grand or two in and make it nice? What should i start with?

Do you have a aftermarket HU?On that budget i would start with a decent HU,component speakers in the front,and coaxials in the back.

Start with a new deck and maybe some components up frt. also what do you want from this system and how much room are you willing to use up

post more information like the above post says. does the "sound system" you have include subwoofers and an amp? do you have an aftermarket headunit(radio)?

nothing at all aftermarket yet.. everything is factory

with 4-500 dollar budget start with a new headunit and new door speaker. i would wait until you have more money to spend to get a subwoofer and amp

you dont NEED one. but trust me, it would be way more convenient to buy one. especially if you plan to upgrade to subs
