Just bought this "convertable" component set. Meaning it can be used as seperate tweeter and woofer, or you can screw the tweeter onto the woofer and use it as a 6.5 inch coaxial. Well im doing the components. So i unscrewed the tweeter from the woofer. My problem is that i cant figure out to set it up now.

So theres the tweeter on the right, then the mounting bracket in the middle, and i think some how im supposed to attach the thing on the left to the back of the mounting bracket correct? Or do i connect it to the back of the tweeter then put both in the bracket?

So theres the tweeter inside the bracket without the other thing attached.

Back of bracket with tweeter inside. Im GUESSING the wire thing attaches to the back of the mounting bracket since theres a hole in the center of both of them. But i cant get it on there good. Like i pushed it on really hard and it doesnt seem like it would come off easily but at the same time isnt all the way in the holes if that makes sense. Like the metal prongs are not touching the back of the tweeter,

Is this done correctly?

was this a brand new set? also what is the model number? PPI Precision Power ART A2.65C?

if so, in order to properly set it up, it looks like that wafer with he leads and wire attached to it need to be placed inside the cup. in your last pic they are on the outside, it has to be on the inside. You then place the tweeter into that mounting cup thus the leads connect to the tweeter making it able to receive and transmit some sound from the amplifier. extremely ignorant way of making a "convertible" system in my opinion. hope i have helped. if not add me as a friend and we can go from there in the chat bar.

so i put the piece with the wires coming out of it in the mounting bracket but when i try to put the tweet in there idk how to make it stay in. No matter how much i twist or push it falls out when turned upside down.Unless its supposed to stay like that... lol Also.. the black wire came unattached from the connector... how can i fix this? Oh AND the 6x8 to 6.5 adapter plates i bought to fit the woofers in my door are WAY to small for the 6.5 inch woofer to fit in... This install keeps getting better and better and it hasnt even started lmao!

omg this is pissing me off piece of **** components with ****** owners manual that says "screw speaker into door" "run speaker wire to amp/HU" "contact local audio store if you have problems".

Alrite i give up im gona call up precision power tomoro and see if they can help me lol.. I honestely dont see how these things fit in there.
