Need help with the '71 Chevelle. 6.5 passive comps and amp?

Do Something like this for your components, No matter what you pick:

These are Dynaudio's components in a 73 Cadillac Coupe Deville. The grilles were all dyed to match the interior. And lastly, a pic of the trunk.

Is splitting them up better? Most of what I thought I read said keep the tweets in the kick panel. Maybe I misread.

how much fabricating did you have to do to get the LS1 in? Thinking bout doing the same conversion to my car.
Check out the link to my build thread. Motor mounts, ***** crossmember, redo the ***** tunnel, some trunk floor work. All can be done with a welder, grinder and hand tools.

It really depends on the speakers and processing. With higher end radio's or processers, you can get a setup like this to sound amazing. And a lot of speakers nowadays are designed to sound great in locations like these.

Been doing a ton of research and trying to see what I can fit into my budget.

I like the price point of the ID CTX65CS and I'm thinking about running a 12" Mag V4 for lows.

This puts me at $430. Do you think this is a good combo?

I also was looking at Morel Tempo 6 and Hertz HSK 165.

If the ID and Mag Sub will work well. I need to power them now. What do you think?

Should I give the ID's more than 100rms? I think the Mag needs at least 600rms. I was looking at Alpine PDX 1.600 and PDX 2.150 and cheaper, but good alternatives?

Rainbow SLC Kick or CMX (pushing budget)ID CTX65CS

BostonPro60

Some CDT's

FWIW, I have a set of mint Pro60s for sale, complete with the original box and all accessories. Shoot me a PM if interested. This would allow you to save a good chunk of cash on the speakers and put that money into other parts of the system.

Good luck with the project. Love the car.

Edit: oops, too late. I'm sure you'll be happy with the gear you chose.
