Need Help With Slot Port Design...

Alright... I started designing a box for my mom's sub... And I want it tuned to 37Hz... And the program I have only does circular ports... I'd rather have slotted... The box is 26wide x 34deep x 19 high... I'ma put both sub and port on top... Can someone tell me dimensions I should make the port to get it to 37 Hz... Thank you...

Port length is a function of port area. Find a suitable round port with the aproximate port area of your slot port and you should be ok...and I agree that 37 is kinda high for pop/rap...more like 32-34hz

Put the sub and port on the back, facing rearward, and make the port 17.5" tall x 5.625" wide x 22" in length. If sitting the box just openly in the middle of the cargo area, whatever that may be does not quite hit the low note you are wanting, simply move the enclosure closer to the rear of the vehicle. If you get it about 4" away from the rear of the vehicle, it will effectively tune the system lower.
