Well I am about to buy a kenwood kvt-715dvd and want to get sirius hooked up to it. Now on cardomain they show this as an accessory for the unit I'm getting:

http://www.cardomain.com/shop/item.pl?sku=DEISIRKEN1

From the sound of it thats all I need in addition to a kenwood satellite ready receiver, right? So just $100? Reason I ask is I thought that what I needed was like $150-200 MSRP.

Thats the new sirius tuner made by DEI. Its a lot cheaper, and the one i have fro my alpine radio seems to work great. That unit just plugs into your changer port and you're ready to go.

Well I just looked around and even from cutchfield I can get everything I need for $90 even:

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-tSvGC1p46t8/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=177450&I=113CXSR40

So whats the difference between the two? I might want to add a changer later so keep that in mind. Thanks.

**edit**

Nevermind I just saw that the tuner was no longer available. Now is the newer one any better or what? Because I can still get the older one for the same price.
