need help with remote wire please

Thanks maddskillzz, I am gonna try this now.
If you do that it will kill your battery. The yellow is the constant, red is the ignition which is a switched power source and what you should be hooking your remote wire to.

 
he has a stock deck, i doubt ANY of the wires are solid yellow or red, take out the radio , turn on ignition, and use you dmm and start checking wires for 12v, when you find one turn your ignition off, if there is no more voltage then that is the wire you need

 
i just went with the inline switch option. its right in my center console so it isnt far out of reach. plus, having one on my sub amp and another on my highs amp, if a cop wants to be a dick, my sub amp has been blown for a while so it couldnt have been me that he heard ;D look man, my amp isnt even powered on lol

Yellow is the constant???WTF?? i coulda swore it was the red that was..well hell...now with all these adapters you buy i dont even look at em anymore...just match the colors and plug it up...LOL..

but yea..toggle switch is a bad idea...your gonna forget to turn it off one time and kill your batts
