need help with picking sub for r5001d

I have this amp PRIME Amplifiers - R500-1D - Rockford Fosgate® i need to find a replacement for it i want a single 12 or 10 but i dont understand ohms very well 2 or 4, i seen something like rockford fosgate r2d2s? Whats a good single sub for that amp ?

if you want to run a single 12 you'll need a dual 4 iohm voice coil it can be wired properly to 2 ohm for your amp....
