Need help with my Silverado crew cab.

Hello forum. I'm a new member and I have a 2012 Silverado crew cab. Went to the audio shop today and they were trying to push the dual 12 JL stealth box on me but I've heard they aren't worth the money. Can anyone recommend a better sub setup that will fit under my rear seats? Maybe a custom job? I'm located in central fl also if anyone recommends a shop near Orlando.

2 dayton HO 10s in a ported might work. Or some of the mew sundown sd 12s that are optimized for sealed enclosures. Custom box will def be key here. CSCStang on here build amd ships some sick boxes. See what he has to say. But you are correct on the jl stuff mot worth the money at all.

I had him do a ported box for 2 DD 6.5 subs, forward firing in my 2013 CC.

Sounds awesome.

Not much room under the seat for down firing AND adequate floor- to- sub clearance.

They sound great. Tight,clean,punchy,dig deep. Rattles my rear view mirror real good.

Amp is a Sundown 600D.

pretty cool to hear that 6.5s have that kind of output. sounds like he got the port and volume just right, always great to find more people with silverados into car audio
