i get the same sound when i unplug it then i plug it back in with the boost all the way up.its a soundstream.

thanks man, let me go chek out your other post, and yea it gets really hot even with the gain at like 30%

Just cause u have ur gain set at 30% does not mean u are not clipping. U must match the gain of ur amp to ur HU's voltage...

What is the model of the amp? Some are 1 ohm stable ,and some are not..???

haha wow ive never heard of that. Although i was told the new rf line (black square amps), dosnt really make a difference if u get a knob. Do you have the boost on the amp itself turned up? My AP had a remote and the dial on the amp

when u say voltage do you mean 32.6v @ 1000w at 1ohm?or rca outputs? cuz i have both of'm set to where there supposed to be.

and as far as the nob working it does get it to go lower.

the speaker terminals should be putting out 32.6volts

Unless your HU is putting out 4v's or so, it should be at 9oclock.... 2v's is like 2oclock

Dnt mess around and tweak for to long cause if you are clipping then your subs will pay as well as you amp. Clipping only leads to failure

3 35w fuses on the amp,1 150 anl fuse for my 0g and thats it

make sure all your connections are snug and + to + and - to -

and fuse size matches amp

check ur ground... There is nothing wrong with using ur 150a fuse cause u fuse for the wire not the amp.
