need help with my hifonics 1500d!

i read the tutorial on gain setting and i think i got it, but im not sure on setting these other controls: subsonic 15hz-35hz, bass eq 0db-18db, low pass 35hz-250hz, phase 0'-180', level (is gain im assuming)9v-0.2v.

anyone that has knowledge about setting these please help. im picking up my wire tonight and i will finally have bass again, thanks to anyone who can help me!!

i have one feeding a xxx, too.......is your enclosure ported? if it is then id set the ssf to about 20-25hz. it attenuates any frequencies below this setting that the driver shouldnt be playing. you dont want to bottom-out your sub. if its sealed, dont worry about it and leave it at 15hz.

bass eq i leave at 0. you dont want to push your amp too hard. some have dubbed it "the remote woofer-cooker". just use the bass on your hu.

low pass i set roughly at 70-80hz. but play around with it. some like 50hz an so on...it attenuates any frequencies above this setting.

phase i leave at 0, but play around with it to find a sweet spot. it reverses the polarity of the driver. usually used when mounting inverted drivers.

gain....all i can say is that if you read and paid attention to the tutorial, you shouldnt have a problem.

What is the tuning on the box?

Thats how you determine the subsonic

Bass eq??

Did you set the gains with it on or off?

I say just put it at 6db

Low pass, probably at 80hz. What are the rest of your crossover points?

Phase - 0

Level is gain.
